See it in action

From crowded to calm in seconds.

A real macOS recording of QuietBar revealing compacted menu bar apps, then walking through its everyday preferences.

Simple by design

A cleaner menu bar without a new workflow.

QuietBar stays out of the way until you need it. Your apps keep running normally; only their menu bar items become easier to manage.

01

Compact the clutter

Place less-used items behind the QuietBar divider and bring them back with a single click.

02

Recognize every item

See the applications behind menu bar items in a clear panel with their familiar app icons.

03

Make it automatic

Launch QuietBar at login and choose when expanded items compact again.

04

Keep everything private

No account, advertising, analytics, or remote server. QuietBar processes its information on your Mac.

Compact

More room for the work in front of you.

QuietBar organizes the area around the notch and reduces the visual noise created by always-visible utilities.

Recognize

Know what is hidden at a glance.

The control panel pairs detected items with their application icons, so a crowded menu bar becomes understandable again.

Personalize

Set it once, then forget about it.

Choose launch-at-login, automatic compact timing, live refresh, language, and keyboard shortcut preferences.

How it works

Three steps to a quieter menu bar.

  1. 1

    Open QuietBar

A divider appears in your macOS menu bar.

  2. 2

    Arrange your icons

Hold Command and drag the items you want to compact to the left of the divider.

  3. 3

    Click to reveal or compact

Use the QuietBar menu bar icon whenever you need those items.

About Accessibility permission: the core reveal and compact action works without it. If enabled, QuietBar uses permission only to read menu bar item names and show matching application icons. The information stays on your Mac.
