A calmer, more focused macOS menu bar.

Getting started

Open QuietBar, reveal the menu bar, then hold Command and drag the icons you want to compact to the left of the QuietBar divider. Click the QuietBar menu bar icon to reveal or compact them. Right-click the icon to open the control panel.

Accessibility permission

Accessibility access is optional for the core reveal and compact action. When enabled, QuietBar uses it only to read menu bar item names and show the corresponding application icons. This information stays on your Mac.

Common questions

If item names are unavailable, enable QuietBar in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility, then refresh the panel.
Use QuietBar settings to enable launch at login, choose an automatic compact delay, or disable the global Control-Option-Q shortcut.
QuietBar does not change the visibility preferences of third-party applications. Quitting QuietBar removes its divider and restores the normal menu bar layout.

开始使用

辅助功能权限

常见问题

如果无法显示项目名称，请前往“系统设置 > 隐私与安全性 > 辅助功能”启用 QuietBar，然后刷新面板。
你可以在 QuietBar 设置中启用登录时启动、选择自动收起时间，或关闭全局快捷键 Control-Option-Q。
QuietBar 不会修改第三方程序自己的图标可见性设置。退出 QuietBar 后，分隔线会被移除，菜单栏恢复正常布局。
